History
The foundation stone of St. Joseph's High
School was laid by Rev. Fr.Joseph Memana on 11th December 1975 and was
inaugurated on 30th December 1976 by Cardinal Joseph Parekkattil.
Later on it was decided to upgrade the school
to higher secondary.The foundation stone of the Higher Secondary
building was laid by His Ex.Rt.Dr.Emmanuel Pothanamuzhi (Then Bishop,
Diocese of Mananthavady) on 3rd October 2000. Building was inaugurated
on 15th February 2002 by Sri.P J Joseph (Ex.Minister for Education and
Public Work, Kerala).
With innumerable stories of success and a
team of qualified and experienced teachers dedicated to the cause of
education, St.Joseph's H.S.S Kallody continues its 'Pursuit of
Excellence'.
Present
St. Joseph`s Higher Secondary School is
located at Kallody is 8 km from Mananthavady town.The school is
affiliated to Kerala State Higher Secondary Education Department.
The school is located in picturesque place.
The calm serene fascinating tranquility of the campus is conducive to
bring forth the entire life refreshing and sustaining. By channelizing
and organizing the young minds, we will able to determine the academic
accomplishment of very single child, accompanied by stamp of
originality. Towards this we have fine arrangements in the campus for
indoor and out door sports and games. We have also facilitated a network
of activities for intellectual pursuits
We have team of highly qualified and
experienced teachers dedicated to the cause of education. Our motto is
to train the young minds into men and women of integrity possessing a
balanced personality. we wish to guide the students in to acquiring,
enabling, harmonizing values with a secular outlook.
We have vibrant PTA extending its enthusiasm in all the activities of the school.
